Quiet - Cozy - Private

The Little House is in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of Mount Ayr, Iowa. It is two blocks from the hospital, three blocks from the swimming pool, three blocks from the town square and five blocks from our newly-renovated Princess Theater. The house has two bedrooms — one with a queen bed, one with a double bed. The bathroom is located between the bedrooms. (A shower stool and toilet lift are available upon request.) There is a large living/dining room. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator and all the dishes and essential equipment needed to cook a meal. Coffee, tea, juice and chai are always on hand. There is satellite TV, games, magazines and a radio/record/CD player as well as a VCR/DVD player and a few movies. The house is air conditioned. Local phone service is provided. There is a washer/dryer available for guests. We furnish the beds with high-quality cotton linens and pillowcases which are starched and ironed. There is a front porch for sitting.

Directions: From Interstate 35, you would come into town on Hiway 2. Probably the easiest way to reach the house is to turn right off the hiway at Lynn’s Sinclair Station. Go two blocks to the northeast corner of the square. Turn left. Continue past the downtown on the north side of the square, past the post office and three more blocks to the stop sign. The Little House is just across the street from that intersection and one house north (right).
